These blades were cut from a Damascus billet made by Alabama Damascus and contain 52100 (ball bearing steel), 5160 (spring steel), 15N20 (band saw blade steel). They were oil-quenched and tempered at 350F, so they are rather hard.

The handle material is 40,000-year-old mammoth ivory from Miles of Alaska. It is from the surface of the tusk and shows the "bark" as it is called. Miles sanded the back sides of the pieces flat and backed them with 1/8" of hardwood for stability, and I left that as it was when making the knives.

They are 6 1/2" overall length, with a 3" blade. Choose from a variety of sheaths, right- or left-handed, belt loop or belt clip, many colors.

MorningStar's new iguana skin and black leather sheath fits all of them, and is available right- or left-handed, for an extra $50.
