Bathroom cabinet of mora with a black walnut stripe, bloodwood and spalted hard maple. about 16" x 24" x 6½" deep. The shelves and back are solid Texas black walnut. The colors are all natural, finished with two coats of clear Danish oil and a hard coat of pure beeswax. This is the first time I've worked with mora, and it's a delight. In Central America they call it "mora amarilla," "yellow mora." It's sort of a light butterscotch when first oiled and will darken some with age. This is a set that needs to be bought first, and then the bathroom designed around it. Some hunter green, royal blue, or dark chocolate tile and fabrics would go well with it.

The Kleenex box is 12" x 7½" x 6" high. Like the cabinet, it is mora with black walnut stripe, bloodwood and hard spalted maple. It's heavy -- specially if you put a cat on top of it -- and won't scoot around on the counter top.

24" x 9" mora heron on a solid piece of bloodwood, and the reeds at the bottom are spalted soft maple. It was originally intended to hang at a left-leaning angle so that the heron's legs would be vertical and the beak horizontal, and the heron would be leaning forward. When I added the dried reeds at the bottom it began to look as if the whole piece might need to hang vertically. I'll put two keyhole slots in the back so that it can be hung on the wall in either orientation.
The cabinet is $1800, the box $400, the Heron $400, or the whole set is $2400.
